Looking just to the right of the previous picture, approximately west, and from a higher vantage point. In this basin forms Alishan's famous "sea of clouds" -- a white blanket of clouds with the higher peaks poking out like islands. I saw it on my arrival the previous day, but it was too dark to take pictures.
